Product Description

General:
15kV/24kV 630A Insulated Protective Cap is an accessory device designed to electrically insulate and mechanically seal load break bushing interfaces. When mated to a load break product and the drain wire is attached to ground, the Insulated Protective Cap provides a fully shielded, submersible insulating cover for energized bushings. The Insulated Protective Cap can be used for permanent or temporary installation on 200A bushings, junctions or insulated standoff bushing.


Structure:
The operating ring: made of stainless steel to facilitate the installation and operation of products;

The insulation layer: a unique formula and mixing technology to ensure that pre-EPDM insulation rubber quality;

The outer semiconducting layer: prefabricated EPDM conductive rubber in line with IEEE592 standard;

Internal thread: internal thread for the M16-2;
